TRAINING
We can offer hands-on practical training for staff or students in the use of video technology, editing, set construction, lighting and management of filming projects. For example, we can do:
SHORT VIDEOGRAPHY TRAINING SESSIONS
2 Hour Media and Video Awareness training: hands-on practical training for staff or students on the use of video technology, covering essential aspects of capturing quality images in a variety of contexts. This could be a highly useful skill to complement teacher training and self assessment, and allow an educational institution to increase ICT use as an integral part of the curriculum and learning.
Two Trained Staff for groups over 40- £300
One Trained Staff for groups under 40 - £150
FILM TRAINING DAY or HALF DAY:
Provision of training in principles in film making, storyboarding, filming and editing techniques in an intensive full day through the simulation of a condensed filming project. The training day can offer teachers or students skills in decision making, group work and practical media skills, or can be designed to complement and enhance important areas of the curriculum in a creative and engaging way. Delivery will be through fully qualified and experienced teachers, who will design a package to incorporate the institutions specific learning aims, and can be geared for a range of ages: primary, secondary and teaching/support staff.
